SenseLAB
Aloe Vera Oil
Plant and Oil Description
While nothing says summer like bathing in its warm sunlight, it can be harsh on your skin. Enter SenseLAB’s signature aloe vera oil: harvested from the leaves of the succulent plant, aloe barbadensis, and then infused in our fractionated coconut oil to produce a potent aloe vera oil that is sure to keep your skin healthy and happy all summer long!
What’s it Good For?
- Carrier oil – Many essential oils need to be diluted in a carrier oil so that they may safely be applied directly to the skin. SenseLAB’s Aloe Vera Oil is created by infusing aloe vera in our fractionated coconut oil, making it a perfect carrier oil to help diffuse stronger scents.
- Burns and wounds – Apply our aloe vera oil to burns and shallow wounds for a pain-relieving cooling sensation and to increase healing time. Aloe vera is known for strengthening the collagen structure within scar tissue, helping to reduce the appearance of scars.
- Insect bites – The anti-inflammatory properties of our aloe vera can be used to help relieve swelling and itchiness from insect bites.
- Facial oil – Aloe vera contains salicylic acid, which works to keep pores clean by gently exfoliating the skin. In addition, the fractionated coconut oil SenseLAB uses to create our aloe vera oil is naturally light and non-greasy, so it absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving residue or clogging pores. Use our aloe vera oil daily to enrich oily, acne-prone skin with a wealth of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids.
- Hair care – Add our SenseLAB Aloe Vera Oil to your hair products to banish dandruff and promote healthy hair. Its antiviral properties help reduce and prevent dandruff while helping the scalp shed dead skin cells with naturally occurring proteolytic enzymes.
How to Use It?
SenseLAB’s aloe vera oil is a carrier oil that is safe to apply directly to the skin without requiring dilution. It can also be added to beauty products to enhance your skincare or haircare routines. SenseLAB’s aloe vera oil is great for use on its own, or you can combine it with other soothing essential oils, such as tea tree, spearmint, wintergreen, eucalyptus, or lavender oil.
How it’s made?
It takes approximately 12 pounds of leaves to produce 30 ml of pure SenseLAB Aloe Vera Oil.
Aloe Vera Oil Physical Properties
Our Aloe Vera Oil is an oily extract from the leaves of Aloe barbadensis obtained by the process of maceration in coconut oil without the use of any chemicals. In this process, Aloe Vera Gel is first obtained by cold pressing the whole leaf of mature, sun-ripened aloe vera plants. This soft and silky herbal gel is then mixed with the carrier (base) oil (coconut) at a higher temperature. The oil soaks up nutrients from Aloe Vera Gel and is filtered after some time to remove out the plant component.
